WTSA Surcharges/Charges

Listed below are current recommended guidelines for some key ancillary charges in the westbound transpacific market, followed by recent and upcoming changes—either planned introductions of new charges or recommended adjustments to existing charges.

Other, additional charges may be applied by some carriers in specific markets (see Glossary), WTSA has chosen, in the interest of simplicity, to list more commonly assessed charges where there is not wide variation in amounts, currencies in which charges are expressed, or treatment in individual member line service contracts.

For a full account of ancillary charges applicable to their shipments, customers are urged to consult their individual WTSA carrier, either directly or via the web site links provided in the “About WTSA > Members” section.
